Before you start pulling out images for your T shirts ask yourself what do you want as the final outcome. Is your shirt going to be for business or pleasure? Are you planning a event or a birthday party or just want to have a personalized shirt done just for you? The purpose will determine the T-shirt printing outcome of the print design.
Lets check some thoughts below...
While designing your T shirts think what your final outcome should be like. Use colour contrast. Quite often compter screen colours may actually come out different when they get printed on shirts. However here are 3 tips to follow to get best results.
After you selected your image and color you may find the proof a bit flat. One way to give it depth is add another dimension to it by adding a color to the background to brighten the image up.
This is where you combine all parts of the design to form one whole image. Try making the image as cohesive as possible. This will help draw the eye into the image rather than away from it.
This will determine where you place the image. Is it going to be on the pocket or on the collar of the shirt? Is it going to be a wrap around design from front to back?
Its best to create a mock up image on paper before you start doing anything concrete. This will save heartache and money.
