This guide explains what file types we need, how to prepare your design, and what to avoid.

To achieve the best result, submit artwork in vector format:
โ AI
โ EPS
โ SVG
โ PDF (vector)

sharp lines
clean text
scalable sizes

See How Basic Logo Artwork Was Prepared for Sublimation
The customer supplied basic logo images that needed to remain clear as both a small chest emblem and a large back design. We prepared suitable PDF and EPS artwork before producing 50 personalised sublimated fishing polos.
Minimum requirements:
โ 300 DPI at the intended print size
โ clean edges
โ no pixelation
โ no screenshots
PS: We will need to convert these to vector images. The cost is a small norminal fee.
โ Print Size (IMPORTANT)
Sublimation is often used for large coverage printing and full shirt prints.
When submitting your artwork, include:
โ width and height in cm
โ placement (front / back)
โ any safe margin rules you want to follow
Examples:
Small chest logo: 10cm × 10cm
Back print: 30cm × 30cm
Full shirt print: Large coverage front/back
โ Colours & Background Rules
Because sublimation prints directly into polyester fibres:
โ colours can be extremely vibrant
โ gradients and photos are supported
โ full-colour designs are encouraged
However:
โ dark polyester garments usually don’t sublimate well
โ sublimation works best on white or light-coloured garments
โ Text Rules (Avoid Small Text)
Sublimation can print small text, but to ensure clean results:
โ use clear fonts
โ avoid overly thin lines
โ avoid extremely small wording

โ correct file type
โ correct print size in cm
โ placement confirmed (front/back)
โ 300 DPI if raster
โ transparent background for PNG
โ no screenshots or blurry images
