DTG Pricing Calculator (Estimate Guide)

This DTG pricing calculator is designed to help you estimate your order cost using real pricing tables based on standard 2-week turnaround pricing.

DTG (Direct-to-Garment) printing pricing depends on:

  • Garment type (tee or hoodie)
  • Quantity of shirts
  • Printing positions (one-side vs two-side vs three sides)
  • Turnaround (standard vs urgent)

 

This page provides an estimate guide to help you choose the best garment and quantity range.

Step 1 - Choose Your Garment Type

The garments below are available as DTG pricing examples:

  • Gildan Heavy Cotton Tee 5000 (best budget option)
  • AS Colour Staple Tee 5001 (premium everyday tee)
  • AS Colour Maple Tee 4001 (premium classic tee)
  • AS Colour Supply Hood 5101 (premium hoodie)

Step 2 - Choose Your Quantity

DTG pricing tables include quantity-based price breaks:

  • 1 shirt
  • 5 shirts
  • 10 shirts
  • 30 shirts
  • 50 shirts

As the quantity increases, the per-unit DTG price decreases.

Step 3 - Choose Print Positions

DTG prices change based on whether you are printing:

  • One Side (front only OR back only)
  • Two Sides (front + back), or
  • Three Sides (front, back, sleeves)

 

Two-side printing is more expensive because it requires two separate print applications.

Three sides are not only the most expensive due to placements on 3 separate locations on the Tee or Hoodie, but the sleeves will delay the turnaround as its done by DTF printing. DTF printing is manual. Allow for a 2 week turnaround if you select printing on sleeves.

Example (Estimate)

If ordering 10 AS Colour Staple Tees with two-side printing:

  • $37.85 each
  • Total estimate: 10 × $37.85 = $378.50

If ordering 30 Gildan Heavy Cotton Tees with one-side printing:

  • $19.44 each
  • Total estimate: 30 × $19.44 = $583.20

  • Urgent DTG printing is priced differently depending on turnaround time and print requirements.
  • Artwork conversion or vector recreation may incur additional costs depending on the job.
  • Shipping and pickup costs vary depending on location and order size.
